Investors LOVE subscription (recurring revenue). Wouldn't be surprising if the company is either planning to be acquired or is seeking outside capital for expansion. Of course we have a free choice to subscribe or not, but I consider anything I purchase from Izotope could be held hostage. It's not about the money so much as I do not want to incorporate something into my workflow, then be faced with a choice of "subscribe or the clock runs out". Was going to spring for Neutron and InSight 2, but slammed on the brakes. I picked up Ozone 9 Advanced for 249€ and thought it was a bargain (50%) off. So pick up more potential customers on the cheap, apply the Excel formula that says X % of these new customers will convert to subscriptions. Quite a deal (this would give me upgrades for Ozone, Neutron, Nectar and RX + Neoverb which I've demoed and liked quite a bit).īut - with them going slowly in the way of subscriptions I don't think I really want to anymore.Another tell tale sign - lower the price of entry, the customer integrates the application into their workflow - then bang, subscription only "if" you want to continue.

IZOTOPE OZONE 4 REVIEWS UPGRADE
Right now the upgrade to Music Production 4 is at its lowest price ever (I think), basically I can upgrade for less than 180$ which makes it
